Crystal and acrylic solve different problems. K9 glass gives the refractive sparkle that defines a crystal pendant and suits bars and dining areas where the fixture is seen close up. Acrylic is lighter and far more resistant to knocks, which suits kitchens, rental apartments and family homes where a pendant will be cleaned often and bumped occasionally.

Both are available in the same silhouette, so a developer can specify glass in shared areas and acrylic in apartments without changing the design language.

Installation Practicalities

Cable length is adjustable on site within a stated range, which matters where a slab is not level or a ceiling has been lowered in one room. We state the adjustment range rather than a single figure so the installer knows how much slack is available.

Ceiling fixings are supplied for plasterboard and concrete, and clusters of three or more can be collected on a single canopy to reduce the number of ceiling penetrations.
